Shinchonji Church of Jesus cordially invited people from all around the world
to the 'World Peace Festival: The 6th Culture and Sports Celebration of
Restoring Light' on Sunday September 16, 2012.







 



This unique multicultural and religious festival took place from 10 am till 9 pm
in the Seoul Olympic Main Stadium at Jamsil. 
 
As a global family, more than 150,000 people joined for a day of unparalleled
celebration and shared in the experience of its once-in-a-lifetime event
with the vision of restoration of peace and light.

The stadium was packed to capacity for the first time in 24 years,
since South Korea hosted the 1988 Summer Olympics.

The event was broadcast live worldwide by the SCJTV.

The purpose of hosting the 'World Peace Festival: The 6th Culture and Sports
Celebration of Restoring Light', sponsored by Shinchonji Church of Jesus (SCJ)
and Mannam International Volunteer Association, is to mark
the commencement of peace for all humanity.
Shinchonji Church of Jesus and Mannam International Volunteer Association,
both worldwide organizations, have collaborated to cohost this incredible event.
